Commission Policy
TheIBNB operates a transparent commission-based model.
For each confirmed rental completed through the platform, TheIBNB applies a commission of 7% on the total rental amount.
This commission is automatically calculated and deducted through the platform’s payment system.
Hosts receive the remaining rental amount after the 7% platform commission has been applied.
The commission allows TheIBNB to operate the platform, provide booking services, maintain security, and support hosts and guests.
Refund Policy
1. Guest Cancellations
If a guest cancels more than three (3) days (72 hours) before the booking start date, the guest will receive a full refund.
If a guest cancels within less than three (3) days (72 hours) before the booking start date, TheIBNB will charge a 5% cancellation fine, which will be transferred to the host.
Special Circumstances
A full refund may be granted in cases of documented emergencies, including but not limited to:
medical emergencies
natural disasters
government travel restrictions
other verified exceptional situations
Supporting documentation may be required.
2. Host Cancellations
If the host cancels more than three (3) days before the booking, the guest will receive a full refund.
If the host cancels within less than three (3) days before the booking, the guest will still receive a full refund, and a 3% penalty will be applied to the host’s account and deducted from their next rental payout.
3. Refund Processing
Refunds will be issued through the original payment method used during booking.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institutions.
4. Non-Refundable Fees
Certain administrative or operational costs may not be refundable where applicable under law.

Users agree to provide accurate payment information for bookings made through the platform.
Payments are processed securely through the platform’s integrated payment system.
Section 6 – Platform Usage
Users agree to comply with all platform rules and policies when using TheIBNB.
Any disputes between users must first be attempted to be resolved through the platform.
Section 7 – Cancellations
Both guests and hosts must follow the cancellation rules outlined in the Refund Policy.
Failure to comply with these policies may result in penalties applied to the user account.
Section 8 – Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between users, both parties agree that resolution must first be attempted through the platformbefore seeking external legal remedies.
